The Emmy Noether junior research group What is it to ask a question? A formal pragmatic investigation of interrogative force is directed by Sven Lauer and funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The project runs from October 2016 to December 2021 and is co-hosted by the Zukunftskolleg and the Department of Linguistics at the University of Konstanz. It is loosely associated with the DFG Research Unit Questions at the Interfaces (FOR2111), and a part of the Konstanz semantics & pragmatics community.

• Sandy Ciroux has joined our project as a Ph.D. student. Sandy comes to Konstanz from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she earned a Master’s degree in Germanic Languages and Literatures, and expects to earn a Masters degree in Linguistics, later this year. Welcome, Sandy!
